This week, The Mac Weekly got to talk with Hawi Tilahune, a senior international studies and political science major with an African studies concentration. Hawi is originally from Ethiopia, but she moved to Minneapolis as a pre-teen. Not only is Hawi a Bonner Scholar, Mellon Fellow and fantastic singer, she’s also a really warm and friendly presence on the Macalester campus.
