Print of the week
March 6, 2009
By Nicole Simpkins
Artist: Heather Brown, art major from northern California
Untitled
Medium: Intaglio-etching and aquatintAbout the process: The artist paints a copper plate with a protective layer, then “draws” on the plate by removing this where she wants to “etch” dark lines or shapes. The artist then lets the plate sit in a bath of acid, which burns the lines and shapes into the plate. These areas catch and hold ink. The artist prints the image by squishing the inked plate and a piece of paper through a printing press.
About the print: Heather is interested in exploring mutations and abberations in the female form, creating Frankenstinian monsters from myths of women.

I have figured out some new points from your web-site about pcs. Another thing I have always imagined is that computer systems have become a product that each home must have for a lot of reasons. They provide convenient ways to organize homes, pay bills, shop, study, hear music and in many cases watch television shows. An innovative method to complete every one of these tasks is by using a notebook. These desktops are mobile ones, small, potent and lightweight.
