Artist: Lily Radkoff
Title: Wood Blight
Medium: Linoleum relief printArtist Statement: I am a junior art major focusing on painting and printmaking. I refer to my own experiences and photographs of natural and urban environments. Recently I am fascinated by car skeletons and chickens.
About the image: At the time I made this I was looking at a lot of pictures of ramshackle houses. This scene is imagined. I am interested in inventing environments that evoke emotions, such as nostalgia or anxiety.

Woah! I’m really enjoying the template/theme of this site. It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s tough to get that “perfect balance” between usability and visual appeal. I must say you have done a fantastic job with this. Also, the blog loads very quick for me on Firefox. Superb Blog!
