This print was a response to a Printmaking I assignment to depict something you wouldn’t want to touch. The grotesque anglerfish was one of the first things to pop into my head-not only am I extremely squicked out by them, but they seemed like a really fun shape to try to depict in the medium. I used white ink printed on a long, black sheet of paper to try to create a sense of the anglerfish’s ghostly existence in the extreme depths of the ocean.
