With the closing of March, our hopes are set on sunshine and green grass. The Mac Weekly has a few tips to make sure you’re ready for spring-whenever it shows up.Shed the layers: It is time let your calves and biceps get some air. Put your pants, long sleeves and parkas away, and wear your t-shirts without a flannel and a sweater overtop.
Ride a bike: The ice has melted and the roads are ready for biking. Make sure your tires are pumped up, your chains haven’t rusted over and your helmet still fits, so you can venture into the city at the first sign of a sunny day.
Repell the wetness: If you tend to be cat-like when it comes to being wet, don’t leave your dorm with out a trusty raincoat, umbrella and/or rain boots, you never know when the thunderstorms will roll in.
Plant a plant: Nothing says spring like new life. Visit any floral shop or even Ace Hardware, to find pots and seeds to begin your own garden.
Stop the burn: It may not be summer, but the sun’s UV rays won’t wait to burn you. Sunglasses, sunscreen and hat are great ways to avoid burning your skin to the color of fresh picket strawberries.
