Kudos to the MacGOP and the Weekly for bringing intellectual diversity to Macalester! (2/4/11) The notion that “the truth is most likely to emerge if all sides of issues are aired has been attributed to a number of people including Milton. John Stuart Mill put it well when he wrote, “He who knows only his own side of the case, knows little of that.” “Both teachers and learners go to sleep at their post as soon as there is no enemy in the field.” Students must “hear [the arguments] from people who actually believe them, who defend them in earnest, and do their very utmost for them. They must know them in their most plausible and persuasive form.” It is becoming clearer and clearer what an abomination political correctness has been. certainly like your website however you have to test the spelling on several of your posts. Several of them are rife with spelling problems and I find it very troublesome to inform the truth on the other hand I will definitely come again again.
