I have realized that in unwanted cameras, exceptional sensors help to concentrate automatically. The sensors regarding some camcorders change in contrast, while others use a beam involving infra-red (IR) light, specially in low lumination. Higher standards cameras at times use a mixture of both methods and may have Face Priority AF where the digicam can ‘See’ some sort of face as you concentrate only upon that.
