Photo Story: 21st Annual Cultural House Poetry Slam

Assistant Director of the Lealtad-Suzuki Center Demetrius Colvin (he/him) presents the poets for one final round of applause at the conclusion of the slam.
Minneapolis poet Keno Evol opened the slam, performing pieces about living on the North side of Minneapolis.
The Cultural House held its 21st annual poetry slam in Kagin Ballroom on Saturday, Nov. 7. Student poets included Samia Habli ’16, Andrea Grimaldi ’16, Bo Kim ’17, Anja Swoap ’19, Becky Githinji ’18, Maddie Schumacher ’19 and Abbie Cotter ’18.
