Media Services, tucked away on the fourth floor of Neill Hall, provides professional educational media support to Macalester. These services often cross over with services provided by the library. Acting Provost Kendrick Brown is looking into the possibility of utilizing this overlap.
“A few years ago, the library had an external review that recommended physically integrating Media Services and the library in one building to take advantage of synergy between the services that both offer,” Brown wrote in an email.
Another motive for relocating Media Services is conserving much needed space in Neill Hall. Brown said the move could address space issues in Neill Hall, which he described as “one of the most fully-utilized academic…buildings on campus.”
At this point, the move is only a possibility. There is currently not a definitive plan or timeframe in which the project would happen. Although there is a clear synergy between what Media Services and the library provide, steps remain in finalizing the potential transition.
“I want to emphasize that nothing has been finalized,” Brown wrote. “I plan to consult with the faculty in Neill Hall before making any final decisions.”

I have seen that fees for on-line degree pros tend to be a fantastic value. Like a full 4-year college Degree in Communication with the University of Phoenix Online consists of 60 credits at $515/credit or $30,900. Also American Intercontinental University Online gives a Bachelors of Business Administration with a complete study course element of 180 units and a cost of $30,560. Online degree learning has made getting the education far more easy because you can certainly earn your degree from the comfort of your house and when you finish working. Thanks for all the tips I have learned through the website.
