American Spirits: The Rise and Fall of Prohibition—

This exhibit will be on view at the Minnesota History Center from Nov. 9 through March 16 of next year. Tickets are on sale for the Bootlegger’s Ball which is this Friday, Nov. 8 from 8 to 11 p.m. The event offers a first look at the exhibit but also samples of Schell’s, Summit and Lucid Brewing beers as well as cocktails (both alcoholic and not).

Amazing Case Bar-Crawl and Trivia Scavenger Hunt—

This annual scavenger hunt/trivia night occurs Nov. 9 from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. in various bars in Uptown and Lyn-Lake. Tickets are a steep $35, but the first place team will win a three-month supply of Summit beer. Each stop includes a pint of beer and some kind of challenge.

Autumn Luau—

This event happens from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 10 at United Noodles. The event promises hula dancing, prizes and food samples, but best of all it is free!

Cocina Del Barrio Lagunitas Beer Dinner—

Cocina del Barrio is holding a beer dinner Nov. 11 from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. This is a five-course meal and each course has a beer.

Vita.MN Six-Pack—

On sale now until supplies run out, Vita.MN has compiled what they are terming the quintessential Minnesota beer six-pack. The compilations are being sold at Zipp’s Liquors on Franklin Ave. in Minneapolis.
