In the last month, familiar spaces on campus have accommodated more than just the regular campus community. Approximately 575 prospective first years (PFs) and their families visited during the Spring Samplers. They had the opportunity to tour the campus, attend student panels, sit in on classes and meet professors.
Macalester participated in the Colleges Against Cancer #PaintYourCampusPurple event by posting purple ribbons, among other decorations, around campus. Mac’s chapter of CAC also organized t-shirt decorating, a Snapchat filter, a purple paint fight and registration for Relay For Life this coming spring. Photos by Maya Rait ’18.
